The bus was great except for the fact that myself and numerous other riders were freezing. The driver said the AC was off but the vents throughout the bus were blowing at full blast the whole time.
Excellent service! The lady driver was so professional and very kind. I didn’t get her name but she was very cheerful and lovely. Would definitely ride again.
I came a little late but they waited for me a bit so I was still able to catch it, the whole ride was very comfortable and the time just went by. Great experience
The bus is clean and tidy. The customer service is fine. The bus arrives early and waits till the schedule time. The bus even arrives to the destination earlier than the estimated time. It’s all good. HOWEVER, there are too many homeless people in the front way in Houston bus station. It could be dangerous and uncomfortable for the customers.
The Houston bus terminal is a disgrace. There were people sleeping on the seats inside the terminal building. These people were not travelling on any Greyhound bus services. They were street hobos. They should be kept outside the building and not allowed inside. I realise this is a problem, and homeless people need to be catered for but not at a public facility and for the travelling public they should not be subject to this sort of intimidation.
Liked the new technology, machines for check in didn’t work so I had to waiting in line to get checked in with the ONE person working: if technology was properly utilized things would be so much faster and smoother.
Bus was very comfortable and all staffs and drivers were really professional. The only unpleasant part of the trip was another passenger who sat in front of me and put his foot between the seats, of which I had to bear the sight of throughout the ride. Maybe Greyhound could be stricter on making passengers put seatbelt on so that no one lies down in such a disgusting position. But really, it was his fault nothing wrong with the company’s service.
The only thing I didn't like that it was full to capacity and I'm handicapped so I need both seats or the designated handicap spot that was unavailable.
The bus driver was very rude! He accepted people’s ticket on their phones ahead of me but when I showed him my phone he said paper tickets only. He also told the guests in the back to “shut up” because they were too loud.
We had to wait an hour for the driver and I think your bathrooms should be nicer and cleaner with better dryers. Spend some money in the bathrooms. It is the most important area in any business.
Well, this was my first time to ride a bus, the staff in Houston was very rude, the bus was super late, like hours late and we were never told anything, not that it was going to be late or how late or anything, luckily a young man I was talking to told me to hop in line with him for a bus also going to Austin and this was three hours later so not sure when I would have gotten home if it weren’t for him.
Bus broke down on side of road when we were no where near our destination. Had to take a cab the rest of the way. Caused terrible inconvenience. Very dissatisfied.
The electricity on my seat didn't work. Couldn't charge my phone. The air conditioner blew out hot air. I wasn't very pleased with my trip home at all. The only real positive, is your staff. But as far as my ride... it beat walking home.
The bus was 45 minutes late departing Houston and none of the staff were available to answer any questions nor did they inform us of what was going on. The earlier 11:45 bus only arrived at 2:30 and when boarding began they gave priority to those with the earlier booking and told me I couldn't board. Only once everyone from the earlier bus had boarded did they then allow those of us on the 1:50 bus onboard, which risked me not being able to make it to Austin.
