From my previous comment,It’s always a pleasure traveling with PeterPan. Despite the loud passenger and no spacing (which was understandable because it was a heavy travel day) Everything else was perfs!
I'll start by saying there was NO driver for our trip. Then we were told that they had to find a driver and that they didn't know the ETA for when we were to leave. Then we were told that a driver was found but didn't know how long it was going to be before we left New York. Once the driver was found, she then proceeded to clean her bus (which was definitely understandable! But took a long time and we were standing on line all that time waiting for a driver and to board the bus.)
I'm glad the driver decided to take the trip but she was kind of rude. We were on an Express bus (which we thought didn't make any stops) and she stopped while at the stop she was asked to close the hatch at the top of the bus and she was NOT cooperative and stated that she wasn't going to unless it was pouring rain. Then at that time it started raining and it was extremely cold. Finally the driver closed the hatch after a number of riders complained.
We arrived almost an hour late which was inconvenient to us with our pick up from the station.
It was myself and my sister (Gina Hicks) traveling together and we both were inconvenienced.
The customer service was very good I was returning home from NY and a mishap took place with my ticket, Ms.Pret* and staff (At The Port Authority) Greyhound terminal made sure I had my ticket and knew where to board my bus. Other than lateness on the drivers behalf everything was great!
Online booking and the trip were great. But after I booked online, I needed to collect my ticket at the depot, I had many problems finding Greyhound at Port Authority, New York. Having information and a map of Port Authority available with the online booking confirmation, especially to be able to locate the right building and the Greyhound ticketing location would have avoided these problems.
Your buses are filthy. I hadn’t no issue with the driver. But your buses are quite disgusting and I couldn’t wait to get off the bus. Absolutely horrific sitting on it. It was like I was sitting in a toilet.
We were happy that we didn't have to wait outside in the cold to board the bus and that we had a choice of seats including those reserved for seniors. The ride was smooth and uneventful, and we actually arrived early.
The Peter Pan bus itself was a comfortable and clean bus to ride on. However, my bus driver was one of the most rude people I have ever met. She would yell at the passengers to turn their phone screen down all the way and to put their headphones on "NOW!!". Even to a lady who did not speak English and did not know how to use her phone the driver still would yell and scream at her to put her phone away. I felt uncomfortable and judged. She also wore headphones and sung music out loud the whole time but told us to not make a peep. Very dissatisfied with the service here.
This was the worst experience I’ve had riding public transportation. The bus was 45 mins late leaving nyc. Granted we were leaving at 7pm so I’m sure it was caught in traffic, but maybe this should be factored in when making the scheduled times so that people are not standing in a line for over an hour. The bus then breaks down around Newark airport and zero communication was initially given for a good 20-30 mins. As I was in the front of the bus, I could hear part of the conversation between the staff as of what was going on, but those in the back were lost as to why we pulled over multiple times onto a busy highway. Then, the staff had the audacity to yell at those who came up to ask what was going on to take a seat. Maybe if they would have explained shortly what the issue was, people who PAID for the ride would know what was going on. Once the second bus came to pick us up, one staff member said to get off and as we were walking to the next bus on a BUSY highway the other driver said to go back to the first bus. No communication or reasoning as to why we had to get back on. We were suppose to be in Baltimore at 1040pm and did not get back to after 2am. OVER THREE HOURS late. Apologies were given by staff but never was anything offered to the passengers to make this right. Never again will I ride another grey hound bus.
Was taking the bus from New York to Baltimore and we got to Jersey Penn station and stayed for 2 hours while the driver was on the phone with dispatch then it was determined that we were turning around to return to new York after 2 hours and wait till the next morning in a bus station with a 3 year old the next bus wasnt until 7:30 a.m and i took the 10:00p.m bus I am very dissatisfied I will not take Greyhound again it was very unprofessional and I ended up having to get a hotel in Jersey more money wasted
The bus I was originally supposed to be on was oversold by 20+ people! So instead of taking the bus that I bought a ticket for because it was already full, I had to wait for Greyhound to get another bus and operator to get me to my destination. I missed the flight I was trying to catch after getting to Baltimore.
Such a negative experience with the bus driver. She had no idea what the directions were to get the passengers to their designated drop off and pickup locations. In addition to being over 2 hrs late for pickup, the driver stopped numerous times as she stated, “I don’t know where I’m going. Does anyone know the directions and address to the Baltimore bus station.” We made circle after circle in New Jersey as she didn’t know where that bus station was. What should have been a 10-15min stop in New Jersey turned into being there for over an hour. I should have arrived in Baltimore around 10:30pm. The bus did not arrive until after 2am! My experience with the bus driver was a terrible one, to say the least.
