The bus driver (Fitzgerald Brothers) was abusive towards passengers the whole trip. It was very disturbing to witness when he pulled the bus over, parked illegally and ran to the back of the bus to scream at some young girls who only had their foot rested on the seat across from them. They were very intimidated and he made them cry. Some guy stood up to the driver and told him to leave the girls alone, but this made the driver very mad and he became very aggressive towards other passengers and other drivers on the road (speeding, tail gating, and using his mobile phone a lot). No one felt safe. When we arrived in Syracuse, he held everyone trapped in the bus (no one was allowed to leave) until the gentleman who stood up to him gave the driver his name. The passenger calmly tried opening the door himself so the bus driver assaulted him. The passenger remained calm and instead climbed out the drivers door. This passenger was a champion for standing up and defending us other passengers. The driver needs anger management... Shouldn't be with the public. Very scary experience.
very few people wearing masks—including greyhound employees. everything was slow and late. very disorganized, I almost didn’t get a seat even though I paid for a ticket
Hi. I had a ticket at 12:35 am on 21/12/19, i come there on time and they said that bus was full, i don't know why then sell more tickets if bus was full? The they give me a bus at 8:30 am, then changed to 05:50, So didn't get in Syracuse at 5:30 am how i was planned, but i got at 12:20.
So i don't know what happened,
Our driver was unable to complete his drive, so we sat for an hour inside the bus wish no staff on the side of the road waiting for a replacement. 0/10 would recommend
our bus had mechanical issues that we had to wait to be fixed and were given no details about how long it would take. we sat for about an hour and a half before we were able to get on the road again and weren’t given any updates about what was happening.
I am very disappointed with the trip today from Nyc to Syracuse, NY. I had a transfer point at Albany and it was delayed two different times. The first time was for two hours and the second was for an extra delayed hour and a half. The staff at Albany was not explaining anything so it was hard to
Know when we were leaving.
We left 15 late. We arrived in Syracuse over 1hour late. A child and her father were singing loudly on the bus most of the way back and many were annoyed but didn’t say anything. The bus driver didn’t make a general announcement. It was a long ride back home.
The driver was very arrogant to the passengers and drove at high speed- am sure a download of the trip stats would show that. We were constantly being swayed from end to end
I was shivering the whole trip and at one point my arm went numb from the ac spewing out directly in my armrest the whole trip.
Serious issues with the ac coming out from where it was.
The trip itself was fine. But it was surprising and actually unacceptable to have such outdated systems. No seats were allocated, and it was necessary to stand in line for over an hour to be sure of getting a seat. As well, printed out paper tickets were required, electronic copies on devices weren't permitted. Archaic systems that are not at all acceptable in terms of customer service.
Horrible service. The bus driver did not know how to operate the lift for disabled people and we had a disabled person on board. We left one hour late for NYC and stayed for an hour and a half at Binghamton because she did not know how to get the passenger off the bus. Binghamton station was closed by the time we got there and we could not use the washroom. The disabled person felt terrible because all the passengers were mad at him and the driver because of the delay. It was a horrible experience!!!
The trip was fine. My only complaint is that the AC was on and despite having three layers of clothing and a big scarf on, I was VERY cold. When it is 62 degrees outside, there is NO NEED for air-conditioning in a bus. There was no way to shut the AC off. It made the trip very uncomfortable.
I will recommend everyone to go buy બસ instead of Air. As I am travelling on 7/8/18from SYR to JFK ticket already purchased hence can not cancel it. Otherwise bus buds is the best choice instead of booking direct with Greyhound as i got cheaper quote here far cheaper than direct quote online... Long live busbuds
Smooth ride and on time. Nice driver. Clean bus and the air conditioner was not too high it was perfect. Only wish it had Wi-Fi was working for you-tube. But nice overall experience.
The bus was stinking like a toilet. The power outlets were not working, The toilets were really unclean. And the staff was not at all professional. You guys charged $44, but it wasn't worth $4. I will never book tickets with greyhound, rather go in a Chinese bus.
My trip was delayed 3 hours with no information what so ever from any of the staff present whether or not the trip was going to be canceled or how much longer it would take .With nobody to get answers from like a staff supervisor or customer service to get questions from. With a total disregard of the customers.I would of never expected this type of neglect and inconvenience of customers with such a company like greyhound.
The bus had a terrible smell coming from the toilet, I was sat in the second to last seat in front of the toilet and the smell was awful. I had to ride with my shirt over my mouth for 5 hours to mask the smell.
Horrible service... No electrical outlets worked for a charger for laptop or phone... And the free Wi-Fi wasn't even available.....my luggage was soaked when I arrived in Syracuse
I was scheduled to leave Syracuse at 430 and return to port authority at 9pm but the bus didn't arrive until 5pm and then we were told the bus will be making a unscheduled stop at binghamton which is why i arrived at port authority at 1030pm and not scheduled time which was 9pm
