The admin staff who handled my booking were very good. The bus driver spoke to someone on his phone for more than two hours. He did use his hands free headset but if any passenger did that I think the other passengers would be a bit irritated.
There are no real sign posts at the departure point in NY. Clear signage would be very helpful.
left station on time/ felt driver was unsure/ had box with directions like trip tic… stop where no one got on or off and spent 23 minutes there… bus was comfortable and not over crowded but trip was LONG. Was 4 when we got off at Providence ( apx time we were to arrive was 2:45 on ticket)
Main compalint: bus driver exchange took a very long time despite the second driver being ready when we got to the exchange stop. that helped result in the bus taking an extra hour on the trip.
Where to begin? They were short staffed, had some guy from their garage driving us, he’d never been to Providence before and was asking the passengers for help navigating. He drove very slowly. The bus smelled like an outhouse, as usual. Please redesign the bathroom tech. We were over 1.5 late leaving and arriving.
It was my first time on Peter Pan, and I liked that there was an outlet, free WiFi, and even a bathroom . I also liked the driver. He was a funny talker and tried to have fun with the passengers. It was a fun ride.
I slept on bus because that was 6am to Providence. But when I woke up bus was on the highway to Boston. Some parts was my fault But I don’t know why the driver was not notice to me??? I was late meeting time and spent extra $90 for Uber!!!
The bus was 20 minutes late, however the bus driver was Professional in her appearance, but had a friendly attitude. She gave a explanation for the late arrival and departure. 😎
First the bus driver went a longer way which took longer to get to I-95 then there was accidents and lots of traffic by the time I got to providence I missed my ride and it was very dark outside I had to take a cab and pay 8.00
I chose this bus because the arrival time in Providence was supposed to be 3:05, but it didn’t arrive until after 4:10. The car rental companies all close at 4:00, so if it wasn’t for me being able to get in contact with a caring employee at budget, I would have been stuck
The bus was fine, a little cramped for taller people like myself. But I was amazed how late it was, even considering how there was no traffic on the way there. I arrived only at 4:30 to my destination.
I observed a few negative things, but the only two things that really stuck out. The stench of the bathrooms was unbearable. It permeated through the whole bus. I had a headache because of the smell. I will be taking a train back to new york to avoid the smell. The second thing was the driver yelling at the passengers who were talking on their phone. I understand that the talking could be annoying but there is a better way to ask people to keep it quiet. He, the driver, was very aggressive and rude to those people.
Worst travel experience I’ve ever had. Bus should have arrived at destination at 7pm, arrived at midnight. 5 HOUR DELAY. My first bus was cancelled because ‘we couldn’t find a driver’. No assurances given we’d have a spot on the second bus. None of the staff had any information about why there was a delay, if there’s another bus, for 2 hours. Fave quote of the night Greyhound staff member “don’t trust the greyhound ticket people, if they say sold out they don’t know what they’re taking about”. It was about as organised as lord of the flies at best. Never riding greyhound again.
My bus broke down from 2:50 PM and I was sitting at the bus stop from 2:50 pm till 8:55 PM and I'm still on the bus right now at 10:36pm writing this review I should have been at my destination from 6pm
I couldn't find the bus because the address said 30th and 9th ave but it really was 30th between 9th and 10th ave. I almost missed my bus because of it.
