Bus driver tried to gwt one customer to use headset but she refused and we had to listen to her and friend babble the entire ride. Took 5 hours and not 3 1/2. Why not leave 1 hr earlier in order to avoid some traffic. Terrible timeline!
Ourbus from NYC to Worcester was packed but I was able to get my own seat. Loved that there is water on board and I could charge my phone. The Wifi wasn't great. The ride took way too long
Our driver was courteous and kind. Even after a long day of driving. He chose to continue his day (made longer due to traffic) so we could get home with no more delays. I was traveling with children so I was really glad
It was a very pleasant experience. The driver named Ron was very polite, helpful and friendly. He offered us bottled water and explained all the sanitary procedures. The bathroom was clean. The different s were very comfortable. We depart and arrived exactly as planned.
The shuttle operator didn't check-in 10 passengers who were standing at the right gate at right time. The bus left us. And after that the alternate arrangements were made which were not satisfactory.
Left late. Very heavy traffic. Went up WS Highway which takes way too much time. Didn't change bus in Hartford. Kept us on same bus and went to Spfd instead. Got in 90 mins late to Worcester.
I’m very disappointed. I purchased 4 tickets for myself, my wife and our two kids (7 and 3 years old). the bus was crowded and the driver and Peter Pan staff refused to help in arranging the seating to sit beside our young kids. We ended up using just 3 separated seats (although we paid for four), my wife had to sit on the same seat with our 3 years son on her lap because we cannot let him sit beside stranger obviously. Transfer was late and no settlement was offered as my driver had promised. I am a veteran and also hearing impaired. I have used my military discount in the past but was refused one this time and told it now only applies to active military - even though I was allowed to use it last week without any issue - and told the next bus wouldn’t arrive for two more hours. I had to purchase another ticket from a different bus company in order to complete my trip as scheduled.
I had a connection at Hartford, but the first bus was 45 min late so I lost my connection. They end up sending me to Boston with no option to get to Worcester. I had to manage to get to Worcester on my own
I had a terrible experience with Greyhound today. The bus left slightly late it that was the least of the problems. There was no mention of the fact that this was not a local bus and that it would be making 3 stops before the final destination. The route that was taken went all the way up through manhattan which took over an hour alone. This was absolutely ridiculous and could have been easily avoided. The driver was slamming on the breaks throughout the entire ride as well. When we finally made it out of the city we got the first stop more than an hour behind schedule. At this point it was certain that I would miss my connecting bus that I was taking from Springfield, the final stop of the first bus. I ended up getting off the bus early in Hartford and at this point it was more than 2 hours past the FINAL areival time of the SECOND bus I was supposed to be on. Unacceptable. The driver did not handle angry patrons very well and made what seemed like a personal stop at an unmarked location for only one patron. I will not be riding greyhound again and will not be completing the returning leg of this journey with greyhound either. Angering and awful.
All.was good. I like the leather seats on Greyhound better because of itchy fabric seats in Peter Pan but all else was great. I used to have buses but do not after the trip to NYC on Greyhound & Peter Pan back to Mass
