There was a promise of a free water service on the bus and this was not provided. The wifi did not work for a while at departure but eventually worked.
Great ride though I was surprised we picked up more riders in Binghampton.
The bus station in Washington Heights was not crowded which is a plus but it is inconvenient in that it requires a subway or bus to midtown.
A stop by Penn Station on the west side or Grand Central on the east would be better.
I traveled several times before with various bus services. OurBus was the best in terms of my overall comfort. As soon as I entered the bus I felt as though it was worth every dollar I spent. I will be making OurBus, MyBus.
The ride back home was unpleasant and quite upsetting. When my family and I boarded the bus, seats were not available because passengers had bags on empty seats. I had to impose my request for my mother (95years old) to sit away from me on seat that had bags on it.
Several passengers did not make any attempt to give us a seat. This made our return trip very, very unpleasant! I This was the worse ride home I have ever had on bus trip.
Additionally, I had to call to gain access to a link for the transport from the hotel to the bus departure site for both trips. Again becoming extremely inconvenienced for my family and I.
I will never use your bus service again.
The seats were comfortable and accessible charging under the seats. The bathroom door kept sliding open and did not lock. The Wifi was impossible to connect to on multiple devices. I do understand we hit some spotty areas along the trip from NYC to Ithaca NY, but I couldn't even connect to it at the bus station. When we got to the bus stop, my husband had to crawl into the underneath of the bus to get our luggage that had moved. I don't feel that the driver should have allowed him to do that and should have grabbed them for us. We were only 1 of maybe 4 people that got off at this stop. Overall, I don't have huge complaints, but I wouldn't advertise internet and movies when the network is not just spotty, but not there.
The admin staff who handled my booking were very good. The bus driver spoke to someone on his phone for more than two hours. He did use his hands free headset but if any passenger did that I think the other passengers would be a bit irritated.
There are no real sign posts at the departure point in NY. Clear signage would be very helpful.
I rode on one of the Fitzgerald Bros buses and HATED it. Who thought it was a good idea to drive a whole hour from Binghamton to Syracuse in what amounts to a Centro bus? The whole ride shook awfully and felt like I was on a roller coaster, and then the charger ports didn't work. This is the second time I've had a less-than-great experience with the Fitzgerald Bros line and it sucks. I just want to be able to get home from Binghamton at a decent price.
There was a lot of people waiting for the bus who were not exactly sure of the bus stop. A bus arrived, with no sign on it, not the company or tour name (ourbus), not a destination sign... nothing to identify that was the right bus. That could be easily improved
I was naive to think the bus itself would be called OurBus and was a bit confused that the bus had a different name on it. The driver did not know what the WiFi name would be and neither did I find any unlocked Wifi network.
The bus driver (Fitzgerald Brothers) was abusive towards passengers the whole trip. It was very disturbing to witness when he pulled the bus over, parked illegally and ran to the back of the bus to scream at some young girls who only had their foot rested on the seat across from them. They were very intimidated and he made them cry. Some guy stood up to the driver and told him to leave the girls alone, but this made the driver very mad and he became very aggressive towards other passengers and other drivers on the road (speeding, tail gating, and using his mobile phone a lot). No one felt safe. When we arrived in Syracuse, he held everyone trapped in the bus (no one was allowed to leave) until the gentleman who stood up to him gave the driver his name. The passenger calmly tried opening the door himself so the bus driver assaulted him. The passenger remained calm and instead climbed out the drivers door. This passenger was a champion for standing up and defending us other passengers. The driver needs anger management... Shouldn't be with the public. Very scary experience.
Was dropped off at buffalo airport and waited more than 1 hour with zero information on next bus. Next bus comes and had to wait an additional 2 hours for everyone to finish their entry requirement checks and take rapid tests. Bus was delayed by more than 3 hours and OurBus didn’t offer any kind of compensation or apologize. Terrible service

OurBus does not allow pets, except for trained service animals assisting a traveler. Service animals must be in a harness and under the control of a passenger at all times.
